  • Condition: This compact is in good vintage condition. It is constructed primarily from brass with linked scales on the back. It features a relief in the likeness of Charlie McCarthy on the front, apparently of brass and fixed to a disc that seems to be composite. Inside is an undamaged mirror and puff applicator. The only damage of note is a few sections where the scales have pulled away from the body. Condition is otherwise quite good overall with minor oxidation and expected wear to the paint (see photos). Compact measures about 64 millimeters wide. Age is unknown but believed to be circa 1940s.
