Art Deco COMPACT Vintage MM MONTE-CARLO Gilt Brass Ribbed Octagonal Mirrored 40s

Description

Offered from a local estate is a great Art Deco style Gilt compact with thin ribs
on top, thicker on bottom and canted corners that give a slightly octagon shape
Inside is clean mirror, original screen with no holes or tears, full hinge opposite the good tight clasp
There is some wear inside around the powder side edges
The incised logo: MM MONTE-CARLO MM
(owner lived in Morocco so this may be a European brand, believed purchases in the 40s or 50s)
3 1/2 x 3 x 3/8"
Light rubbing wear on exterior, though top shows very well!!
