    Description

    Not much is known about the Chevelier Garde Perfume company, looks to have been established in the late 1930's, I can't really find a whole lot more beyond that.
    The compact is heavy for its size and is encased in a very thick black enamel with a white enamel Maltese Cross. Measures 2 1/2" inches square and 3/8" thick. All latches work exactly as you would expect. Has original branded gauze in great condition.
