1955 AirmaIl Cover from Northfield, MN to Manchester England (Return to Sender)

Description

1955 airmail cover from Northfield, MN, USA to Manchester, England, which was returned to sender.  It has hand-written notations and cross-outs
seeking to get the letter to its intended recipient, but ultimately, it appears to have been unsuccessful, with the addition of handstamps reading "Rebut/Parti" and "Gone Away."  The cover has
cancellations reading January 26, 1955 (Northfield, Minn.), January 31, 1955 (Manchester), and February 2, 1955 (Manchester).
It is
franked using one 15c (Scott #C35) stamp.  The cover is in very good, sound condition.  I
t is a Very Fine piece ready to enhance any collection of U.S. postal history.
