    Description

    This is a pretty Sterling silver & enamel powder compact.
    The piece is signed by the maker R&G Co. (Ripley & Gowan) and dates from the 1930's.
    The compact is made of Sterling silver with a cream colored guilloche enamel decoration hand painted with flowers.  The inside has a small mirror, rouge cake slot, and a closing, covered, powder compartment.  There is still some of the original makeup inside.
    The compact is in vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.  Please be sure to view all of the pictures for a full view of the compact's condition.
    The compact measures 2.2" wide.
